500 g sirloin steak
2 big onions
4 tablespoon of oil
1 tablespoon of butter
salt, black pepper, sweet, hot paprika
1/2 cup of cream
2 tablespoon of double concentrated tomato purre
1 cup of water
flour to coat the beef
In a small pan heat the butter and add chopped onions and concentrated tomato puree. Fry until soft , not broun. Set aside.
Trim the beef and cut into thin slices across the grain. Cut each slice into thin strips. Toss in the flour to coat thoroughly.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the beef strips and stir- fry for a 3 minutes,
add onions mixture and add pour over it water, and cover and simmer for 5 minute, uncover and cook, stirring until the water has reduced to half.
If meat is enought soft for you add cream, strir and heat the moment.
Serve with gnocchi or pasta. It is very easy and quick to do, and very tasty
